our mole removal service

Moles are a growth of skin that developed when pigment cells (also known as melanocytes) grow in clusters; in fact, most adults have between 10 and 40 common moles on average. Our innovative treatment allows us to remove moles that are risen from the surface of the skin, leaving only a smooth layer of fresh skin once the healing stage has been completed.

This treatment involves only a small amount of discomfort with many of our clients stating they can either feel nothing or next to nothing throughout the procedure. We are able to treat the majority of moles depending on where they are on the body and this is something that will be discussed with you in depth prior to the treatment.

Our technician will make you aware of any pre-care and after care guidelines that must be followed in order to achieve the best results from your Mole Removal treatment.

The downtime for this treatment can depend entirely on the individual and the size of the mole that is being removed. On average, full healing may take around 5-10 days to complete; during this stage you will have a small scab/graze that will shed throughout this time period.

how does this service work?

Whilst there are a variety of different Mole Removal methods available throughout the world, we use a Plasma Skin Tightening technique which we tend to find the most effective. The reason for this is that the device acts as a cautery pen allowing us to immediately stop any bleeding as we proceed throughout the treatment. This device also allows us to effectively extract the mole from the surface of your skin or shrink the mole down to the surface of the skin; this depends entirely on the size of the mole and how much is protrudes away from the skin.

The method used will be discussed with you in great detail prior to the procedure. To finish the procedure, we seal the area that has been treated with our device to decrease and chances of infection or bleeding post-treatment. The removal site will look like a small scab or graze as a result of this which works as a barrier to protect your skin.

Following your treatment, you can expect to experience some redness and possibly some minor inflammation and/or irritation but be aware that this is a completely normal part of the healing process. If you have any questions or would like to book in for our Mole Removal treatment, why not get in touch today for more information.
